“Hidden Treasures more than lives up to its name—at least the treasure part. Chef Trevor and his wife, Denise, are the true gems of this beloved Cat Island spot. Their warmth, hospitality, and genuine care for every guest transform a simple meal into a memorable experience. They welcome you as though you’ve been part of their extended family for years.

We rarely dine out as frequently as we did during our week on Cat Island, but Trevor saw us often—and each visit felt better than the last. On our first stop, I asked for a Diet Coke. He didn’t have any, which was no issue at all. When we returned, he greeted us with a smile and a stocked supply. Another friend preferred lime in her drink, and Trevor saved the biggest, juiciest one just for her. In the Bahamas, where sourcing specific items can be a challenge, these thoughtful gestures speak volumes. He makes it his mission to ensure guests have exactly what they enjoy.

Despite its name, Hidden Treasures is not hidden in location. In fact, its welcoming porch became a gathering place throughout the week. While a part of us would have loved to keep it all to ourselves, we were genuinely delighted to share the space with fellow cruisers and vacationers. The conversations, the laughter, and the sense of community added to the charm.

Hidden Treasures is more than a restaurant—it’s an experience shaped by the heart and hospitality of the people who run it. Chef Trevor and Denise have created a place where great food, great company, and great memories come together effortlessly. It is, without question, a treasure of Cat Island.”

“Hidden Treasures is a very special place run by two amazing people -Denice and Trevor.  We have had the privilege of eating Trevor's food many times and while he's back in the kitchen doing his thing, we also had the pleasure of chatting with Denice and forming friendships.  I can't say enough about them both, the passion Trevor has for his food and his customers and how much they both make you feel like family.  We have traveled all over and have had some of the best meals of our lives at Hidden Treasures.”

“Hidden Treasures Restaurant is pure magic. Chef Trevor and his charming and vivacious wife, Denice are warm and welcoming and the food and drinks are incredible - you can taste the love and care in every dish that is prepared.

Highly recommend the conch fritters, jerk mahi-mahi, fried grouper sandwich, and sweet potato fries. The Flamingo Daiquiri is the "bomb"!
